Biography

I am a marine biologist with a Ph.D. in Biological Oceanography (USP), specializing in Environmental and Ecological Monitoring, using fish as model organisms. I publish regularly in international journals, book chapters, and technical reports for governmental and private institutions. My core expertise includes trophic ecology, fish natural history, historical ecology, and advanced ecological statistics. I have extensive experience in linear modeling and multivariate data analysis in R, and I teach Linear Models Applied to Ecology at the graduate level. I develop and implement sampling protocols, conduct environmental impact assessments, and produce taxonomic identification guides. My recent research integrates historical ecological data to explore seasonal patterns in marine fauna, and I am currently working on studies in fisheries economics. With over 400 citations and an h-index of 14 (Google Scholar), I contribute actively to the fields of marine ecology and applied environmental science. I currently serve as a faculty member and research coordinator at IFPA–Marabá Industrial Campus.
