Dr. Ricardo Lagoa is currently Assistant professor at ESTG-Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and colaborates with different research units in Portugal. He graduated in Biochemistry at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and completed the PhD in Biotechnology and Biomedical Research at the University of Extremadura (Spain) in 2011. His research topics include oxidative stress in toxicology and disease, natural compounds, enzyme and biopolymer applications.
