Dr. Roberto Carlos Domingues Martins (Ph.D. in Biology, 2013) is an Assistant Researcher at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) with research interests in marine ecotoxicity, hazard, risk, and environmental behavior of engineered nanomaterials and other coating components (e.g., anti-fouling biocides, anti-corrosion inhibitors). He is currently supported by a research grant awarded from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (DOI: 10.54499/2021.00386.CEECIND/CP1659/CT0011) and was recognized with four awards. He is (co)author of more than 50 papers (h=20), one book, and two book chapters and (co)supervises(d) seven PostDoctoral Researchers and >50 Ph.D., MSc, or BSc students.
