Dr. Robinson Robles Hernández is a pulmonologist at the Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Respiratorias (INER) in Mexico City, where he works in the COPD and airways disease department. His work focuses on chronic respiratory diseases, particularly COPD due to biomass and tobacco exposure, small airway dysfunction, hypoxia, and immunopathology. Dr. Robles is actively involved in clinical research, with several peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at national and international congresses. He is a member of the Latin American Thoracic Association (ALAT) and the Mexican Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SMNyCT), professor of medicine at the National Polytechnic Institute. He has received recognition for academic excellence during his postgraduate studies.
