Dr. Marta Roig Flores is univ. professor in the field of continuum mechanics and theory of structures from 2020 . She obtained the Civil Engineering degree from from Universitat Politècnica de Valencia in 2013, master in Concrete Engineering (UPV, 2015) and the PhD in Construction Engineering (UPV, 2018). Previously, she worked at the Institute of Concrete Science and Technology (ICITECH-UPV) and at the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences, CSIC. She has worked on 2 European H2020 projects and on the COST action Sarcos. She has also participated in several national, regional and local projects and in technical and scientific committees of RILEM and fib. Her areas of research interest are special concretes, with a focus on self-healing concretes, fiber-reinforced, sustainable with waste materials, and exposed to high temperatures. She has published several journal papers and contributions to conferences, with an h index=18 and more than 2800 citations according to Google Scholar. He has recently co-supervised 2 doctoral theses and given an invited talk at the CNMAT2024 national materials congress within the construction materials symposium.
