Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Biotechnology) with 5+ years of postdoctoral research experience applying genomics, multi-omics, pangenomics, and quantitative genetics to dissect the molecular basis of complex traits and develop genomics-enabled strategies for crop improvement and plant adaptation. My research integrates genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, high-throughput phenotyping, and computational biology to investigate plant evolution, specialized metabolism, and responses to environmental change, with current research focusing on carrot genomics, anthocyanin biosynthesis, and population genomics. Currently working on multidisciplinary USDA-funded research projects with expertise in computational biology, statistical genetics, and bioinformatics. Authored 30+ peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and served as reviewer for 80+ manuscripts across Nature Portfolio, Elsevier, and Frontiers. Active member of Sigma Xi, the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB), the North American Forest Genetics Society (NAFGS), and the RNA Society, and recipient of the International Young Scientist Award and Best Researcher Award (2022).
