Mohammed A.-M. Salem is a Professor of Image and Vision Computing at the German University in Cairo, GUC. He has received the Doctor of Science Degree from Humboldt-Universität in Berlin, Germany in Multiresolution Image Segmentation in Dec. 2008. He has published a book and over than 120 papers in the fields of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. He has supervised more than 30 Master’s students and 10 PhD students in the fields of his research interest as Machine and Deep Learning, Video Surveillance, 3D Vision, Medical Image Processing, Multimedia Processing, and Signal Processing
