Samar Abdelhady is a Pre-Registered Medical doctor at Alexandria Main University Hospital, Alexandria University, Egypt. She has had professional training in Dr. Firas Kobeissy lab at the American University of Beirut [AUB] on the application of proteases as a potential biomarker for traumatic brain injury [TBI]. She aims to pursue post-graduate studies in the functional neuroimaging of TBI; specifically, the study of functional reorganization in recovery post-TBI. Samar is a scientific illustrator. She has special interest in sci-art with a motive of integrating off-lab interests into science communication and developing engaging data visualization tools for honest science reporting.
