I am a digital health expert and Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH), the peak body for digital health. Recognising as an international expert in digital health, I have been invited to serve on the grant assessment committees for digital health initiatives in Australia and Canada, showcasing my knowledge, contributions, and leadership in this field. I have also served as a New Zealand educational representative at IoT Alliance New Zealand from 2020 to the present.I have a multi-disciplinary background in IT, project management, business analysis, and solution architecture, giving me a broad overview of technologies and their applications in complex environments such as healthcare. After obtaining my Master’s from Staffordshire University (UK 2011), I worked in the industry for several years as a business analyst and project manager, focusing specifically on requirement analysis, integrated system analysis, and design.My industrial experience and academic background give me a unique opportunity to provide innovative and practical digital health solutions to enhance health equity and people’s quality of life. My passion for research and teaching allows me to continue to bridge the gap between academia and industry. My research focuses on digital health technologies and applications, specifically IoT, AI, and data science approaches, in mainstream healthcare and disaster situations.
