Sara Santos is a Junior Researcher of the Intelligent Systems Group at Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS. She obtained her degree of Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering at Nova School of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon. Sara started collaborating with Fraunhofer AICOS in 2019 in the context of her Master thesis focused on developing and validating an inertial motion capture system for the direct ergonomic assessment. Since then, Sara continued her research activities focused on ergonomics and machine learning for time series. She has collaborated in the development of a library for time series feature extraction and in the implementation of deep learning models for indoor positioning systems.
