Dr. Simona De Vita is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Salerno, Italy. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2019 and holds an M.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry and Technologies from the same institution. Her research integrates computational chemistry, drug discovery, and target identification, with a strong focus on structure-based approaches for the design of bioactive molecules. She has contributed to the development of pharmacophore modeling tools and virtual screening protocols, as well as the characterization of natural compounds with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties. Her work aims to bridge computational and experimental strategies to accelerate the discovery of novel therapeutic agents.
