Biography
Dr. Zhang focuses on the regulatory mechanisms of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) and leukemia stem cells (LSCs). Using multiple single-cell approaches, she uncovered the early behavior and expansion dynamics of HSCs after transplantation. Therefore, she tried to understand the regulation of HSCs by the marrow microenvironment, especially the Megakaryocyte niche.
