Sezer Okay earned, from the Middle East Technical University, an MS (2005) and a PhD (2011) degree in Biology. He is now the Faculty Member of the Vaccine Institute, Hacettepe University, Turkey. His work in Microbiology has resulted in 36 articles, 8 book chapters, and 32 presentations as well as 13 courses and 9 supervised theses. He is a member of Turkish Microbiology Society. His research interests include recombinant vaccine development, microbial biotechnology, microbial omics sciences, and bioinformatics.
