After completing my architecture degree (recognized by University of Lisbon in 2023), my academic journey began as a Teaching Assistant at Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo Catholic University (USAT) in Peru, followed by an integrated master's course in 2016 under the Euro-Latin American Partnership in Natural Risk Mitigation and Protection of Cultural Heritage (ELARCH) project, developed between the University of Minho (Portugal) and the University of Basilicata (Italy). During this time, I contributed to academic publications and presented at international events broadening my network and gaining valuable experiences in the field of built heritage conservation. My professional experience from 2018 to 2022 includes roles as a junior architect at Aquatech Consultancy, Inc. in California. There, I supported visual inspections and led drafting tasks. Additionally, I served as an adjunct professor at USAT, where I taught and mentored students on their thesis projects. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Sustainability of the Built Environment at the University of Minho. My research focuses on the vulnerability and multihazard risk assessment of vernacular-built heritage to heat-related hazards.
