Muhammad Shoaib Akhtar is a researcher and doctoral fellow at the University of Florence (Italy), affiliated with the National Research Council (CNR). His research lies at the intersection of quantum machine learning, radiative transfer modeling, and hyperspectral satellite data assimilation, with a focus on computational climate intelligence. He has previously studied and conducted research in China, and his international experience spans over 15 countries. Currently, he is working on developing scalable and energy-efficient AI frameworks for atmospheric modeling, particularly using data from advanced satellite platforms such as IASI-NG.
