Dr. Raffaele Simeoli is a pharmacologist. He has achieved bachelor's degree in pharmacy and then his Ph.D in Pharmacological sciences at University Federico II in Naples (Italy). After spending four years as post-doc in London at Queen Mary first and thereafter at King's College, in 2019 he joined the Laboratory of Metabolic Diseases and Hepatology at Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital in Rome (Italy), where he has acquired and improved his knowledge on the use of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry. Actually, he is working on Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) applied to different drug classes including biologics, antibiotics, antiepileptics, benzodiazepines, antifungals and others. Dr. Simeoli (Scopus ID: 37112972900) is author and co-author of a total of 38 publications on International Journals (h-index 18, excluding self-citations). Among these, 19 publications are based on pharmacokinetic (PK) and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) studies. Actually, he is member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF) and the International Association of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring & Clinical Toxicology (IATDMCT). He is also a member of the Editorial Board of Frontiers in Pharmacology and Antibiotics (MDPI) Journals.
