Šimun Lončarević is a Research Associate at the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar (EIHP) in Zagreb. He graduated at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, where he obtained his MSc in 2016, and where he is currently a doctoral candidate. After working in the private sector, and as a research assistant at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, he began working as a Research Associate at the EIHP in 2017, where he currently works in the field of energy and climate planning as a Researcher. His research interests primarily include emissions from non-road mobile machinery, energy statistics and e-mobility. He is a member of the Croatian Energy Association.
