Prof. Dr. Sorinel Capusneanu

Sorinel Căpușneanu is a Full PhD Professor at the Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest, Faculty of Ecoonomic Sciences, Department of Economic Sciences and PhD supervisor in Accounting at the 1 Decembrie 1918 University in Alba Iulia. His research interests are management accounting, performance management, management information systems, controlling. He is author of the following books: Elements of cost management (Economica Publishing House), Management accounting. Performance assessment tool (Universitara Publishing House) and co-author of Using ABB-ABC-ABM Tryptic for Improving Performances. Case of Coal Extractive Industry, Deontology and Accounting Expertise. Judicial Accounting and Tax Expertise (Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany) and Management Accounting Standards for Sustainable Business Practices, Sustainability Reporting, Ethics, and Strategic Management Strategies for Modern Organizations (IGI-Global, USA), Cost Management (Universitara Publishing House), News and Perspectives in Accounting and Management Control (TipoMoldova Publishing House) and Accounting and Management Control. Tools for assessing entity performance (Aeternitas Publishing House). He has participated in numerous national and international conferences and has made an outstanding contribution to managerial accounting by publishing several articles, most of them focused on the Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
