Dr. Saqib Qamar is an Assistant Professor at Sohar University, Oman. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, and completed postdoctoral research at Umeå University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, where he remains affiliated. He holds a Bachelor's degree specializing in Statistics and a Master's in Computer Science. His research interests include Medical Image Analysis, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. He has published 30+ papers in high-impact venues and holds patents. He serves as an Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor for reputed journals, and has completed 100+ peer reviews for leading IEEE and Nature journals.
