Dr. Sukhjit Singh Sehra received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the I.K.G. Punjab Technical University, India, in 2018. Prior to joining Laurier in 2019, he worked as a data scientist at Elocity Technologies Inc. in Canada. From 2006 to 2018, he worked at the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College in India. His research interests are spatial data quality assessment, indoor–outdoor smart navigational systems, augmented reality-based routing, big spatial data, spatial data science, AI for geographical text analysis, semantic segmentation, and intelligent transportation systems (ITSs) for eco-friendly navigation.
