Subhra Sankha Sarma is currently working at VIT University Vellore as an Assistant Professor Senior Grade 1 in department of Communication, School of Electronics Engineering. He pursued his PhD in the Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology Silchar, India. He received his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from AKTU (formerly known as UPTU), Lucknow and ADBU, Guwahati respectively. He worked as M.Tech Trainee in the Holography Lab at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh in 2013. He worked as a Guest Lecturer at Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar in 2015. He also worked as Tr. Instrumentation Engineer at Focus Energy Ltd., New Delhi in 2011. His research interests span D2D communication, 5G network, mm-Wave communication, Internet of Things, UAV communication, conventional and digital holography, holographic optical elements and holographic diffusers.
