Dr. Tatenda Dalu is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Biology and Environmental Sciences, University of Mpumalanga. He completed his PhD studies in Marine Biology at Rhodes University, and has been awarded the 2016 Bronze Medal Award from the Southern African Society for Aquatic Scientists and
research excellency awards from UNIVEN, ZimAchievers, and UMP. He serves as a Memberof three South African scientific academies and of two international societies. His research topics mainly include the following: plankton ecology, trophic ecology, biodiversity and conservation, and aquatic ecology.
