Biography

Thomas C Andersen attended the University of Toronto for his undergrad, Laurentian University for his masters, and obtained a PhD in physics working under John Simpson. His masters and PhD work concerned the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory, which earned him a share of the 2016 Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics. Current research is mostly on quantum foundations, emergent quantum mechanics, general relativity, and classical approaches to quantum gravity. He runs a small research facility in Canada, at https://nscir.ca. He has also a member of the global cosmic ray observatory CREDO (https://credo.science/ ).
