Tomasz Piotrowski was born in Lodz, Poland in 1965. He received his M.Sc. degree from the Lodz University of Technology, Poland in 1991 and a Ph.D. degree from the Lodz University of Technology, Poland in 2001, both in electrical engineering. He is a lecturer and research fellow at the Institute of Electrical Power Engineering of Lodz University of Technology. His research interests include diagnostics of insulation of power transformers, mathematical statistics and artificial intelligence.
