I, Tsung-Hsien Lee, graduated from Taipei Medical College (now Taipei Medical University) in 1995 with an MD degree. In July 1997, I joined the National Taiwan University Hospital as a resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing four years of residency training, I pursued subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the same hospital for two years, starting in 2001. In July 2003, I became an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the National Taiwan University Hospital and enrolled in the doctoral program of the Institute of Clinical Medicine at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine. My doctoral research focused on the correlation between reactive nitrogen species and antioxidants during embryonic development in IVF treatment. Since April 2007, I have been an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chung Shan Medical University Hospital. In August 2009, I transitioned to the Institute of Medicine at Chung Shan Medical University as a full-time assistant professor. After obtaining my Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine in 2012, I continued to teach students from the master's and doctoral programs at the Institute of Medicine of Chung Shan Medical University. My research areas have expanded to include oxidative stress effects on sperm, embryos, and stem cells in reproductive medicine.
