I am deeply curious about the potential of the immune system to fight cancer. Over the past four years, I have been dedicated to the development of anti-tumor immune cell therapies, with a focus on CAR T cells. My journey began during my BSc in Russia, where I optimized the genetic construct for the country’s first anti-CD19 CAR T cell therapy targeting lymphomas. I then expanded my expertise during my MSc studies in Heidelberg, with hands-on experience at Miltenyi Biotec. Today, I’m continuing this path as a PhD candidate, working on the development of CAR T cell therapies for solid tumors in a collaborative project between Miltenyi Biotec and the University of Bonn. I’m always eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the advancement of next-generation cancer immunotherapies.
