As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP, Project Management Institute) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM, Scrum Alliance) I have supported the successful management of almost $70M of technically complex, multi-institutional and sometimes international R&D projects from prototyping phases over testing to delivery w/ cross-functional research teams. During this time, I have collaborated with co-located and virtual research teams (25-60 direct stakeholders, 9-14 members/core team) from a variety of research fields and have acquired a deep understanding of research processes and innovation requirements. Collaborators include national labs, national and international leaders in academic research, and companies, while project sponsors have thus far included NIH, DARPA, DTRA, DOD, and EPA. In addition, I am experienced at leading teams in strategic and process improvement initiatives.
