Dr. Vanessa Emanuelle Pereira Santos is a researcher at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil, with expertise in cancer biology, molecular oncology, precision medicine, and translational research. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and conducts research focused on the molecular mechanisms of cancer, with particular emphasis on breast cancer, human papillomavirus (HPV)-associated malignancies, transcriptomics, and biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic response. Dr. Santos has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and serves as a reviewer for international journals. Her research integrates molecular biology, bioinformatics, and next-generation sequencing technologies to advance precision oncology. She is also engaged in academic teaching and scientific outreach, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in molecular medicine and cancer research.
