Dr. Vasi Uddin Siddiqui is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Advanced Engineering Materials and Composites Research Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, India, with a thesis on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of metal-based nanomaterials. His research focuses on the design and development of natural fiber-reinforced polymer composites, advanced composites and biocomposites, nanocellulose, and graphene-based materials for sustainable environmental, structural, and energy applications. Dr. Siddiqui has authored over 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and co-authored books with CRC Press and the Royal Society of Chemistry. He serves as a regular reviewer for leading journals from MDPI, RSC, Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, and has acted as Guest Editor for special issues in Frontiers in Photonics and the Journal of Natural Fibers. He is a life member of the Asian Polymer Association, a member of the American Chemical Society, and an affiliate member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. His contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the INSC Young Researcher Award (2022), Best Oral and Poster Presentation Awards, and Gold Medals at innovation exhibitions.
