Dr. Vasileios Nikolaou Cheimaras received his Diploma Acceptance of Signal Corps as a Telecommunication Officer from the Hellenic Military Academy in 2004. He obtained an M.Sc. in Modern Telecommunication Systems, Internet Technologies, and Systems Security from the University of West Macedonia and the University of Piraeus in 2016, and a second M.Sc. in System and Engineering Management from the Democritus University of Thrace and the University of Macedonia in 2018. He also completed postgraduate studies in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in collaboration with the Supreme Joint War College. In 2026, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of West Attica, with research focusing on secure and energy-efficient wireless communication networks. He holds the professional qualification of a First-Class Radio-Electrician degree since 2020. Dr. Vasileios Nikolaou Cheimaras is an experienced Signal Corps officer with a demonstrated history in the government administration sector. His research interests include low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN), secure wireless sensor networks (WSN), hybrid network architectures for critical applications, private 4G/5G communication systems, and secure wireless infrastructures for emergency and mission-critical operations.
