Sebastiano Verde received his PhD in 2021 from the Doctoral School in Information Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy, for the thesis “Content integrity and origin discovery in multimedia forensics”. In 2019, he was visiting PhD student at the University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, participating in the project DéjàVu. Prior to that, he received his BSc degree in Information Engineering and his MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2014 and 2017.
His research interests lie primarily in the area of multimedia signal processing, with a special focus on image and video forensics. He is also interested in computer vision, audio processing and machine learning.
