Vladimir Stankovic received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany in 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he was with Texas A&M University, College Station, first as a Research Associate and then as a Research Assistant Professor. From 2006 to 2007, he was with Lancaster University. Since 2007, he has been with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where he is currently a Reader. His research interests include signal and information processing and machine learning, including graphical representation approaches for heterogeneous and highly dimensional signals and explainable artificial intelligence solutions with applications to smart home energy management, smart buildings and cities, computer vision, seismic signal analysis, and personal healthcare.
