Dr. Vladimir Robles-Bykbaev

Currently, I am working on the design and development of assistive technologies aimed at providing support for the educational inclusion of children and youth with disabilities or special needs. One of the most relevant research lines that we conduct is related to the creation of tools to improve the support of the following areas: speech-language therapy for children, and the access of educational contents on Sexual and Reproductive Health for youth and women with disabilities. To this aim, we work with small robots, software, and ICT that can incorporate AI techniques. Likewise, we work in the development of programs for older adults (with neurocognitive disorders), and the rescue and preservation of Ecuadorian indigenous cultural heritage.
