He worked at KTH, Digital Future & Ferritico AB (Sweden), McMaster University (Canada), Tohoku University (Japan) after his PhD. His research focuses on intelligent alloy design and characterization, sustainable metallurgy, clean steel production, process-structure-property correlation of metals, etc. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed international journal papers, and has given over thirty times plenary/keynote/invited lectures and over eighty oral presentations in international conferences. He has obtained several research awards.
