Prof. Wei Zhang obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Leeds, U.K., and has worked at the Institute of Advanced Technology at the University of Surrey, U.K., since 2008 before joining Dalian University of Technology, China, as an Associate Professor in 2011. In December 2017, he was promoted to a professorship. Prof. Zhang's current research interests include biomaterial and bio-mechanics, multimodality therapy of cancer, and hydrogel for bio-applications. He has published over 70 SCI journal papers as the first/corresponding author in Composites B, Carbon, Carbohydrate Polymers, Nanoscale, etc. ORCID: 0000-0002-8475-3143
