Dr. Haiguang Wang is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Plant Pathology, College of Plant Protection, China Agricultural University. He is also the vice chairman of the Plant Protection Information Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Protection and a member of the Plant Disease Epidemiology Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Pathology. He received his BS in plant protection from Shandong Agricultural University (2000), and his MSc (2003) and PhD (2008) in plant pathology from China Agricultural University. He has won the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society of Plant Protection (2010, 2021), the Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award (2014–2015), and the Shennong Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Award (2020–2021). His research areas are plant disease epidemiology and macro-phytopathology.
