Dr. Waqas Ahmad earned his PhD from the Institute of Zoonoses, Jilin University, China. Dr. Ahmad completed his M.Phil in 2012 and his undergraduate degree (DVM) in 2010. He is now working as an Assistant Professor in Epidemiology and Public Health at a Public Sector University in Pakistan. He has studied the epidemiology of NTDs especially rabies and infectious diseases. His work in the field of rabies epidemiology has resulted in various publications, nominations, and conference presentations.
