About Me
Yao Sun received his bachelor of engineering degree in civil engineering from Tongji University in 2016, a master of science (Distinction) degree in civil and environmental engineering from Imperial College London in 2017, and a doctor of philosophy degree in civil and environmental engineering from Nanyang Technological University in 2020. He is currently working as a full professor of civil engineering at Hunan University in China. His research interests mainly focus on structures, engineering education, steel structures, composite structures, fire engineering, and carbon emissions.
