Prof. Yixing Chen

Prof. Dr. Yixing Chen is a Professor at the College of Civil Engineering, Hunan University. He completed his PhD studies in Mechanical Engineering at Syracuse University, and has been awarded the Building Simulation Journal Paper of the Year Award, and the Hunan Provincial Excellent Youth Fund. He has published 60 papers, 11 of which are highly cited, and serves as a Member of the Building Simulation Committee of the China Simulation Society, and a Member of the Hunan Green Building Society Young Experts Committee. His research topics mainly include: Urban Building Mass Energy Simulation (UBEM), Building Energy Simulation, Builder Behavior, and Architectural Artificial Intelligence (AI).
