Dr. YoungJoon Park is a researcher specializing in cancer genomics, bioinformatics, and immuno-oncology. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Bioinformatics from CHA University, Republic of Korea. His research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and therapeutic response through integrative multi-omics approaches, including genomics, transcriptomics, and single-cell sequencing.
Dr. Park's research has primarily focused on glioblastoma, tumor immunology, and translational cancer research. His doctoral work involved multi-omics analyses of a phase I clinical trial evaluating autologous immune cell therapy for recurrent glioblastoma, with the aim of identifying biomarkers of treatment response and elucidating therapeutic mechanisms.
His current interests include tumor microenvironment biology, cancer immunotherapy, single-cell and spatial omics, biomarker discovery, and precision oncology. Through interdisciplinary research, he seeks to bridge computational biology and clinical medicine to advance personalized cancer therapies.
