Prof. Yue Zhou is a professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China. He obtained his bachelor and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Tianjin University in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate and a lecturer at School of Engineering, Cardiff University, UK, during 2017 – 2020 and 2020 – 2024, respectively, after which he joined Tianjin University as a professor. Prof. Zhou’s research interests lie in power system demand side response, electricity market and cyber physical systems. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers. He has led or participated in more than 15 UK and EU projects. Prof. Zhou is a Managing Editor of Applied Energy, an Associate Editor of IET Renewable Power Generation and IET Energy Systems Integration, a Subject Editor of CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems, and an Editorial Board Member of Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems and Energy Conversion and Economics. He was the CIGRE UK NGN Chair in 2022.
