I am an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Healthcare, Division of Nursing at Tokyo Healthcare University. My research is centered on advancing nursing education through the development and evaluation of modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies. My primary research interests include physical assessment education, competency-based curriculum design, and simulation-based learning. I am particularly focused on bridging the gap between theory and practice by leveraging technologies such as e-learning and extended reality (XR) to enhance the clinical judgment and practical skills of nursing students. My recent work includes a comprehensive national survey analyzing physical assessment syllabi across Japanese nursing universities to evaluate their alignment with the new national Model Core Curriculum, as well as systematic reviews on the effectiveness of XR in nursing education.
