Dr. Yunyun Dong, whose research centers on the intelligent processing of remote sensing imagery. His work spans image matching, object recognition, image classification and segmentation, as well as computer vision, remote sensing big data analytics, and deep learning. Dr. Dong has published extensively in top-tier international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, and the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. He has served as Principal Investigator on multiple research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key Laboratory of Geographical Information Science and Technology, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. His research aims to advance intelligent and data-driven methods for remote sensing image understanding and applications.
