Yongyi Ran received the BS and PhD degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, in 2008 and 2014, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. He worked as a research fellow with the Cloud Computing and Application Platform (CAP) Group, Nanyang Technological University from 2019 to 2020 and worked as a postdoctoral research associate with the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2017 to 2018. His research interests include stochastic optimization, deep reinforcement learning, satellite communication, intelligent computing & thermal management, etc.
