Biography

My research interests center on the physiological ecology and molecular biology of rice, with a focus on the genetic dissection and applied utilization of genes associated with stress tolerance and yield performance. I am particularly interested in the mechanisms of grain filling, both at the physiological and molecular levels, and how this process responds to environmental conditions and management practices, aiming to identify key regulatory genes for breeding high‑yield, high‑quality, and stress‑resilient varieties. In parallel, I investigate the differential effects of nitrogen forms on abiotic stress adaptation, employing biochemical and molecular approaches to unravel the regulatory networks through which nitrogen nutrition modulates stress responses, and to explore practical avenues for integrating this knowledge into crop improvement and sustainable cultivation.
