Prof. Dr. Yury Vladimirovich Zhernov, M.D., Ph.D., and D.Sc. is a medical researcher and expert in immunology and environmental hygiene. He is the director of the A.N. Sysin Institute of Human Ecology and Environmental Health at the Centre for Strategic Planning and Management of Biomedical Health Risks under the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, and also holds a professorship at the Department of General Hygiene at the F. Erismann Institute for Public Health within I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University).
