Doo-Hyun Choi received his B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, South Korea, in 1991, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and engineering from the Pohang Institute of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, South Korea, in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He served as an Assistant Professor with KNU, from 1996 to 2000, and Seoul National University, from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, he rejoined at KNU and became a Full Professor with the School of Electronics Engineering. He currently serves as the Head for the Department of Mobile Engineering supported by Samsung Electronics and is in charge ofthe Intelligent Information Systems Laboratory, KNU. His research/educational interests include intelligent information and signal-processing systems and the practical development capacity building of future generations.
