Professor Ewa Klugmann-Radziemska, PhD, DSc, is a physicist and the Head of the Department of Energy Conversion and Storage, Chemical Faculty, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland. She is the author of 11 books and 335 scientific publications and conference articles. Her research interests are: investigations of renewable sources of energy (solar, wind, biomass, biogas, biofuels) as well as theoretical, experimental and numerical investigations of convective heat transfer. Professor Ewa Klugmann-Radziemska’s current research and teaching interests include: investigations of the effect of temperature on the power drop in crystalline silicon solar cells, recycling of crystalline silicon solar cells, recycling of used tires and waste rubber, investigations of the potential in photovoltaic energy utilization in north Poland, and non-waste technology of biodiesel production under agricultural household conditions. Professor Ewa Klugmann-Radziemska teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Thermodynamics, Building Engineering Physics, Renewable Energy Sources and Life Cycle Analysis. She also teaches a PhD seminar in current topics in RES.
