Biography
Dr. Marco Pau received an M.S. degree (cum laude) in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering and computer science from the University of Cagliari, Italy, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. Currently, he is a Senior Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology, where he works with the Department of Grid Planning and Operation. His main research activities include monitoring and control of distribution grids and the design of innovative solutions for distribution grid automation.
