Prof. Robert Chulist received his master’s degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metals, AGH University of Science and Technology, and completed his doctorate at the Faculty of Physics, Technical University of Dresden. Since 2013, he has been employed as an assistant professor at the Institute of
Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow. Since 2014, he has been an expert in the team of research laboratories accredited by the Polish Accreditation Center at the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences—Scanning and
Transmission Electron Microscopy Laboratories at IMIM PAN. The basic areas of his research are intelligent metallic materials exhibiting martensitic transformation, as well as derivative effects such as the shape memory effect, magnetocaloric effect and pseudoelasticity.
